The Truman Trio

“Bob Truman: a legend in his own lifetime!”

Bob Truman became an associate member of the LSO in 1972 working with Andre Previn and recording with artists like Maria Callas.

He then joined the Royal Opera House before becoming principal cello of the London Philharmonic for 21 years.

His recording of "Elevation" by Zippoli is one of Classic FM's most requested CDs.

The other members of the trio, Annabel Thwaite (piano) and Matthew Jones (viola) have both won many awards and performed at the world's leading concert halls.

The programme will feature Beethoven and Chopin.

They are a trio of serious quality.
