The Choir of Caius College, Cambridge
“The choir now boasts a purity of sound and a clarity of diction to match its rivals at Kings and Trinity” Evening Standard
Gonville and Caius College Chapel is probably the oldest purpose-
The college's musical tradition began at the end of the nineteenth century with a male choir with boy trebles and later became an exclusively undergraduate male choir.
In 1979 the choir became a mixed undergraduate choir and is now one of the UK's leading collegiate choirs. The twenty three singers and two organ scholars perform a wide range of sacred and secular choral music ranging from the fourteenth century to the present day.
The Christmas concert will be conducted by the Director of Music Dr Geoffrey Webber. For more info about the choir click here.
